The Art of Being Human: Shambhala Training Level 1
With Arawana Hayashi
March 31 - April 1, 2023
Many of us need personal and community support to engage fully in the uncertainty and confusion of the times we live in. Work and family demands, plus worries about political and environmental challenges can plague us and cause us to disconnect from our fundamental sense of well-being. This program invites us to uncover and gain conviction in the view that human beings are fundamentally good and awake, and that this capacity can be cultivated and strengthened through meditation, reflection, and personal conduct.
With meditation as its basis, this workshop emphasizes the development of genuineness, confidence, humor and dignity within the complexity of our daily life.
The core teaching of Shambhala celebrates the basically good of all begins. Explore this in your own experience through talks, meditation, and conversations. This is the first program of Shambhala’s five-part Heart of Warriorship series based on the well-known teachings of Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche in Shambhala: The Sacred Path of the Warrior.
