“From Meditation to Education” will feature Dana Fulmer in conversation with Joanna Rotté regarding Dana’s innovative contributions to the field of education through teaching and administration, how her meditation practice informed her philosophy of education, and how the Buddhist slogans, known as lojong, guide her daily life. The conversation may touch upon Dana’s spiritual perspective on dying and rebirth.

Dana Fulmer enjoyed a deep and successful career as an educator: teaching from kindergarten to grad school, coaching teachers, developing curriculum, administering programs, and creating nationally used teacher resources. As a student of Chogyam Trungpa and Dzogchen Ponlop, she has been a dharma teacher and meditation instructor in the tradition of Tibetan Buddhist for over 30 years. Dana is a person living with metastatic cancer and has explored the bardo teachings on dying for insight into living more fully.
