AWAKE IN THE WORLD OF TODAY

“Awake in the World of Today” is a live, in-person interview of Michael Carroll by Joanna Rotté. Their conversation will explore Michael’s experience bringing benefit to workaday people for the well-being of society; specifically, how dharma teachings may help us meet our time of extreme division and leadership madness.

Michael Carroll, having held executive positions in the publishing industry, is a human resources consultant to major corporations, the author of three books on mindfulness in the workplace including mindful leadership, and a dharma teacher in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition. He began practicing meditation in 1976 and studied directly with 20^th century meditation masters including his root guru, Chogyam Trungpa.
