Joanna Rotté interviews visual artist and dharma teacher Daniel Berlin on how his practice of meditation influences his artistic intentions; in particular, how his ongoing aspiration to declutter the thinking mind may be reflected in things he makes and how he lives.

Guest Bio: Daniel Berlin lives in the Hudson Valley in a house he built for his family. He studied painting and drawing at Illinois State and poetry at Naropa University in Boulder where he first engaged with Tibetan Buddhism. His artwork has been exhibited in NYC and is often shown in upstate NY. As a meditation practitioner and teacher, Daniel writes haiku poetry.
