Milarepa Day
With Dana Fulmer and Daniel Berlin
March 15, 2025
Milarepa Day is celebrated near the first full moon of the new year. As a community, we read aloud The Rain of Wisdom, a collection of spontaneous songs of enlightenment by Milarepa and other great yogis of the Kagyu buddhist lineage. This is a great way to learn more the history of our lineage as we read stories and poems both by and about some of the important historical figures
“These songs provide a staircase of liberation. They actually enable us to interrupt our perpetual subconscious gossip, awaken ourselves on the path, and energize ourselves so that we can help others.” –Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche
Please join us for some or all of the day.
