The Heart Sutra is one of the most treasured sutras, or teachings, of the Buddha. This five-week class will explore its wisdom, a concise explanation of “emptiness.” The Sutra encourages us to go beyond our usual conceptual framework to see ourselves and our world as they are. The class will include readings, the practice of the Heart Sutra, and discussion.

Daniel Berlin

Daniel Berlin was a co-founder of Sky Lake and for over forty years has been a student of Buddhism. He has been teaching Dharma classes for thirty years. He is a father of two teenagers and is a practicing artist.
