In the harvest spirit we invite you to bring:
An offering of fruit for the shrine
Non-perishable food for donation to the Rosendale food pantry
Dessert or savory tea snack for the celebration

We are thrilled to announce that this year’s Harvest of Peace will feature an address by the Sakyong Wangmo, Dechen Chöying Sangmo. The Sakyong Wangmo, or “Earth Protector Lady”, has a many faceted role in Shambhala society, which includes cultivating peace and harmony through communication and encouraging true sophistication and elegance in family life, celebration, and ritual. The Sakyong Wangmo is the partner of the Sakyong and mother of their three children. She is the daughter of Namkhe Drimed Rinpoche and comes from a family lineage with a long tradition of female practitioners. She is also an accomplished singer, and dancer in the Lingdro tradition.
