Creating an End-of-Life Plan (online)

This online program will provide guidance for participants in creating their own End-of-Life Plan. A template will be provided for participants to create their own Plan, with presentation on relevant topics including relating with family and community; considerations for the dying process; an overview of Buddhist practices for end of life and for funerals; legal forms & requirements for NY State; disposition of remains (cremation, green burial, etc.); and more. The program will include presentation, writing time, discussion & reflection, and access to all forms and resources.

Dana Fulmer is a longtime student and instructor in the Kagyu Buddhist tradition. She provides emotional support to local families receiving hospice care through Hudson Valley Hospice, and trained in end-of-life spiritual care with NY Zen Center.
About the Leader

Dana Fulmer
Dana has been a teacher and meditation instructor in the Karma Kagyu tradition of Buddhism for over 30 years. As a teacher, she is especially interested in exploring practical applications of dharma and in creating an interactive community for participants. Dana is a student of Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche and Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche.
